Umamusume Pretty Derby

Great racehorses from the past have the potential to be reincarnated as "horse girls" in a world that is very similar to our own. These "horse girls" have the ears and tails of horses in addition to their speed and stamina. The most talented of these equestrian young women are accepted into Tokyo's Tracen Academy, where they are given the opportunity to hone their skills in the hopes of one day achieving fame and money as both racers and idols. Special Week, a horse girl originally from the countryside who has just started attending high school at Tracen, is determined to make good on the promise she made to her mother to become the best horse girl in all of Japan. She makes a pit stop at the race track on her way to school and is immediately enamored with Silence Suzuka's style. As a result, she is resolved to compete on the same team as Silence Suzuka.
