The Vice
The Vice is an ITV police drama on the Metropolitan Police Vice Unit. It ran for five short succession between 1999 and 2003. It tells the story of the vice group of the London Metropolitan police force, where underage sex, prostitution, as well as different such crime are regular occurrences. Most episodes result in such a way where the protagonist is captured but usually not in a'naturally' reasoned way that you'll expect together with television dramas, and often ending an episode with more questions unanswered than answered.
The team is led by Detective Inspector Pat Chappel who struggles to deal with the balance between his home life and his work lifetime - as well as the different members of the team. Employed in the seedy underworld contributes to a dilemma for the club - that the stress involving the Vice Squad and the offenses they explore conducts and gives a rich viewing experience to the series. The programme blurs the line of this team staying to the side of this law, as every member of the team at points submits briefly or permanently to the temptations of money, drugs, sex or honey cubes. Sometimes with consequences.
