The Family

The Family is actually a British fly on the wall documentary series that started broadcasting 17 September 2008. Each season follows a family, consisting of parents and their own children. The project aim was to acquire a picture of everyday family life in the United Kingdom, as film-maker and manager Jonathan Smith attempted to"condense four weeks of ordinary family life into eight films". The string is a revival of the initial series of the exact name that aired in 1974.
