The CAT
T.H.E. Cat is an American act drama which aired during the 1966-1967 tv season on NBC, co sponsored by R.J. Reynolds and Lever Brothers. The show was created by Harry Julian Fink, Dirty Harry's creator.
Robert Loggia starred Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat, as the title character. T. H. E. Cat is actually a forerunner of tv characters like The Equalizer, that skirt the edges of regulations enforcement and bring skills from sooner careers for those needing more help than law enforcement can provide.
The show preceded the 1968-1970 ABC tv show It Takes a Thief, that was about a cat burglar who used his skills for good.
