Story of Yanxi Palace

Wei Yingluo, who is intelligent and quick-witted, pretends to be a seamstress in order to access the palace and investigate the circumstances surrounding her older sister's death. Yingluo deceives the Empress Fucha into thinking that the imperial guard Fucha Fuheng is the person responsible for the death of her sister so that she can be transferred to the Changchun Palace to work as a maid there. She does this because she is convinced that Fucha Fuheng is the person who murdered her sister. She comes to see that the Fucha siblings are trustworthy and generous individuals over the course of time, and during this time she also develops romantic feelings for Fuheng.
