Lockie Leonard
An Australian children's television program called Lockie Leonard, which was adapted from the Lockie Leonard books, debuted on the Nine Network on June19, 2007. In Albany, Western Australia, for the television show. In2009, a second season of the show was filmed, and it premiered in Australia, the UK, and Ireland in 2010. Goalpost Pictures Australia produced Lockie Leonard, and the Australian Children's Television Foundation handles distribution. Jebediah sings "Worlds Away," the show's theme tune. On Saturday, September27,2008, Lockie Leonard made his UK debut as a part of the venerable children's Saturday morning program TMi, which airs from 9:00 to 10:30 on BBC Two. After the first 12 episodes, it kept airing on CBBC Channel. Sean Keenan, the star, was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent, while the program won the 2008 TV Week Logie Award for Best Children's Series. It received the Best Children's Drama Series AFI Award in 2007. The show was also a candidate for Best International Children's Drama Series at the 2007 BAFTA Awards.
