Hawkeye

Produced by Stephen J. Cannell, the television series Hawkeye ran for one season in syndication during the 1994–1995 broadcasting season. The scenes for the series were shot in North Vancouver and Vancouver, both located in British Columbia, Canada. The events of the series, which are based on characters from James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales, a collection of books, take place in the Hudson Valley of New York in the year1755, during the time of the French and Indian War. The story focuses on the main character, Natty Bumppo, as well as his Native American companion Chingachgook, trading post owner Elizabeth Shields, and various other characters who are stationed at or residing in the area around Fort Bennington.
