Glitter
Glitter is an American television drama show broadcast by the ABC network throughout the 1984-1985 season.
The show was made by Aaron Spelling and was set behind the scenes of a premier entertainment magazine titled"Glitter" and strove to combine the urgency of journalism and business politics with the glamorous lifestyles of the rich and famous featured at the pages of this magazine. The cast members were David Birney, Morgan Brittany and Arthur Hill.
The arrangement of this show was like two other ABC shows that were produced by Aaron Spelling. The Love Boat and Hotel that it featured visible guest appearances from celebrities, such as Ginger Rogers and Cyd Charisse. Unlike one show, Glitter was not just really a ratings success. The very first few episodes aired in September 1984, and then the series was shot off the air until December 1984 after three episodes were displayed. Tests failed to improve and the show was cancelled. The rest of the eight episodes were displayed as part of ABCs lineup throughout December 1985.
Glitter was sold abroad. It was shown in the United Kingdom at the summer of 1985 on BBC1.
