Doctor Who Confidential
Doctor Who Confidential is really just a show created to match the revival of their science fiction television series Doctor Who. Each incident was broadcast on BBC Three on Saturdays, instantly after the broadcast of the weekly television event on BBC One. The running time of this two show was 30 minutes, being extended to 45 minutes at the next. BBC Three broadcast a cut-down variant of this programme, lasting fifteen minutes, after the weekday evening repeats of earlier seasons and shown after the repeats on Fridays and Sundays.
Described as focusing on the human element of this collection, Confidential features behind-the-scenes footage from the creation of Doctor Who through clips and interviews with the cast, production team and other people, for example individuals who've engaged from the television show over time of its existence. Each episode deals with a topic that is different, and in the majority of cases identifies the Doctor Who episode which preceded it.
There also have been two episodes of Doctor Who Confidential broadcast apart from the revealing of Doctor Who episodes: in November 2006 a version subtitled"Music and Monsters" was produced going behind the scenes of a televised concert of sound track music produced since part of this year's Children in Need appeal, and on 3 January 2009, a special variant was aired to announce the actor chose to play with the Eleventh Doctor.
