Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes
John Wayne Gacy was a serial killer who murdered 33 young men between 1972 and1976. He was an aspirant politician, a well-liked local contractor, and a part-time clown for hire in his spare time. The bodies of the majority of his victims were discovered buried beneath his home in the tranquil northwest suburbs of the city of Chicago. The DNA of Gacy's victims is still being researched 50 years after his death, and scientists are still trying to identify all of his victims. However, 60 hours of previously unreleased audio between Gacy and his defense team have provided new insight into the narcissistic mindset of the murderer, as well as insight into how he was able to operate with impunity for so long.
