Call of the Wildman

C all of the wild man is a American reality television show that airs on the Animal Planet network. The 3rd season of the show is now airing. The series follows the exploits of Kentucky woodsman Ernie Brown, Jr., nick named"The Turtleman". Aided Neal James, by his good friend, along with his dog Brown operates a nuisance animal removal firm, catching the animals and releasing them back into the wild. The show is mainly filmed near Brown's Lebanon, Kentucky, home. Brown began catching snapping turtles out of ponds nearby his home. He came to the interest of Animal Planet producers in part after a episode of Kentucky Educational Television's Kentucky Afield show that featured his techniques was published on YouTube and went viral. After visiting Brown and doing a few initial filming, network executives chose to produce a 12-episode season of the series with all the name The Turtleman of all Wild Kentucky. The name was changed to Call of the wild man, a reference to Brown shout that punctuates his actions during the collection. The show has been Animal Planet program from the fourth quarter of 2011 and was renewed for a second, 16-episode show that began airing in June 2012. Animal Planet has re-released the show with bonus features along with amusing information known as Phone of the wild man: Longer LiveAction.
