Bread
Bread is actually a British television sitcom, screened to 3, produced by the BBC and written by Carla Lane.
The show focused on the devoutly-Catholic and protracted Boswell category of Liverpool, in the district of Dingle, led with its matriarch Nellie via a number of downs and ups as they strove to create their way throughout life in Thatcher's Britain with no visible way of support. The street shown at the onset of each programme is currently Elswick Street. A family called Boswell had featured Lane sitcom The Liver Birds and Lane confessed in interviews that the 2 families had been probably related.
Nellie's feckless and estranged husband, Freddie, abandoned her for another woman called as'Lilo Lill'. Her kids Aveline, Jack, Adrian, Joey and Billy donated money to the central family fund through benefit fraud and the sale of goods and continued to reside in the family home in Kelsall Street.
