At the films is a picture review television program produced by Disney ABC Domestic Television in that two film critics shared their own remarks of newly released films. This system aired under various names. Its hosts were Roger Ebert of the Chicago Suntimes and Gene along with WLS-TV Siskel of the Chicago Tribune and WBBM-TV. After Siskel died in 1999 richard Roeper of those suntimes became Ebert partner in 2000. Ebert suspended his appearances for treatment of thyroid gland in 2006, with various guest hosts substituting for him. Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune Co-hosted. Starting on September 6, 2008, E! Entertainment Television film critic and author Ben Lyons along with Sirius Satellite Radio host and former co-host of current Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz and The Young Turks happened over as hosts. About August 5, 2009, it had been announced that Michael Phillips would return to the series and New York Times film critic A. O. Scott on September 5, 2009. Throughout its conduct with Siskel and Ebert as broadcasts, the show was nominated seven times and for Outstanding Information Series. It had been well regarded for its"thumbs up/thumbs down" inspection summaries given throughout Siskel's and Ebert's tenures. The series aired in syndication from the United States and on CTV in Canada. The show also aired on the cable network ReelzChannel through the entire week.
