Alice

Alice is an American sitcom television show that ran from August 31, 1976. The show is centered upon the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. The series stars Linda Lavin in the title character, a widow who finds that out a job working in a diner on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona, and moves with her young son to start her life over again. Most of the episodes revolve around occasions in Mel's Diner.
