Zander the Great

Mrs. Caldwell, a loving mother with a little son named Alexander, takes in Mamie, an orphan girl who was abused in the orphanage. After getting to know him, Mamie decides to call him "Zander." Mamie Caldwell was a victim of abuse at the hands of the orphanage where her mother, Mrs. Caldwell, was housed after her death. Mamie is determined to ensure that the boy will not be subjected to the same abuse that she was subjected to.
