The Sensitives
In Drew Xanthopoulos' romantic and cinematic documentary, we meet Joe, a patriarch whose affliction is that he's indifferent to his wife. And twin brothers Sam and Nathan, musicians who are no more ready to breathe out their real-life sterile"plastic bubble," and whose mother, Karen, acquired her disease when she was just 17. These characters all suffer with painful sensitivities for their surroundings. Whether from ambient chemicals, genetics, electricity, and maybe psychogenic factors, the reason is not yet determined, however the reality of those effects on such individuals is incontrovertible. Fortunately, Susie Molloy, a firebrand who is chemically sensitive , seeks to provide help. In her, an urge whose mission is to de-stigmatize the community has been found by those suffering with this malady, also Xanthopoulos has crafted a picture deeply painful and sensitive and painful as its title implies in telling their stories.
