The Only examines Briana Scurry, a goalkeeper who is a member of the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame, finest victories and darkest defeats throughout her incredible life. The film examines the inspirational heights and profoundly troubling sides of a Hall of Fame goalie who was the only openly gay player and the only starter of color on the pitch.
