Solomon and Sheba
But surrounded by enemies including its own allies and Egypt under the rule of King David, Israel is united and booming. The aging King David favors his younger son, Solomon, as his successor, however, a warrior, David's elder son Prince Adonijah, admits himself King. He admits Solomon to be his own successor when David learns of this. His overall, adonijah and Joab, withdraw in rage. Israel prospers under King Solomon rule and is viewed as a threat. Egypt's Pharaoh agrees to cede a Red Sea port in a scheme to undermine Solomon's rule. Present ancestral worship that is Sheban into Jerusalem and sheba will be to seduce Solomon. Prince Adonijah, currently banished, also conspires with Pharaoh and has given an army. The film is First Kings chapter 10 -- a highly fictionalized dramatization of events represented from The Bible and Second Chronicles chapter 9.
