In a commune along side other children, their mothers, and magnetic leader, Gregori , 11-year-old Alexander lives on the boundary of a crumbling city. Gregori teaches the youngsters how to raise livestock, grow veggies, act as a residential area - and just how you can kill. Alexander begins to question Gregori's overwhelming influence on the children and also his practice with the arrival of a newborn brother weighing his head. Threatened by his own increasing unwillingness Gregori's behavior turns out inconsistent and adversarial toward the child he considered a son. The residents fear a resolution are in hand with the two-set perilously at odds as well as the commune's manner of life disintegrating.
