Next Summer

Edouard is the father of a huge family; his second wife, Jeanne, has recently given birth and has had enough of his philandering. Edouard's girls face their own emotional shock waves as their parents' marriage falls apart. Dina, who is dating playwright Paul, desires more from her daily life, whilst Sidone is married to another musician but is scared of playing in public. Seven years later, Edouard is dangerously ill, and the family discusses their concerns, hopes, and anxieties.
