Karen Dalton: In My Own Time
In the 1960s, Karen Dalton was a well-known blues and folk singer in New York. Karen, who was admired by Bob Dylan and Nick Cave, gave up the traditional signs of success and lived an unusual life until she died young. Most pictures of Karen have been lost or destroyed, so the movie uses interviews with her friends and family and Karen's sweet melodies to paint a full picture of this one-of-a-kind woman and her hauntingly beautiful voice.
