1961, yale University. Stanley Milgram designs a psychology experiment that resonates to this very day, by which people think they're delivering electric shocks. Despite his pleads for mercy, the experimentation don't stop, administering what they think is a electric shock, only because they've been told to do so. Milgram strikes a nerve in popular culture and the scientific community along with his exploration to people's tendency with Nazi Adolf Eichmann's trial found in areas across America. He is accused to be truly a deceitful, manipulative creature, but his wife Sasha stands by him through it all.
