Escape from Zahrain
Yul Brynner plays political leader Sharif who is derived from a paddy wagon on his method to a firing squad by young loyalists led by Sal Mineo. Yul and also the various other prisoners abduct a rescue and head right into the Arabian desert with the police in warm quest. All the efficiencies are spectacular: Sal Mineo showing his acting abilities, Jack Warden in a wiseguy performance as a staff member of Zahrain oil who was associated with embezzlement, Anthony Caruso as a slimed psychotic and the underrated Madlyn Rhue as a registered nurse who becomes emotionally involved in the proceedings.
