All the Mornings of the World

It 17th century. The viola da gamba player Monsieur de Sainte Colombe comes home to find that his wife died while he was off. In his despair he assembles a house in his garden to wich he proceeds to devote his life to music and his two young girls Toinette and Madeleine , avoiding the world. Curious about him and his music reaches the court of Louis XIV, that would like him court in Lully's orchestra, and is wide spread, however Monsieur de Sainte Colombe refuses. A new person, Marin Marais, concerns see him with no petition 1 day, he wants to be taught how to play the violin.
