The Organizer
Professor Sinigaglia (Marcello Mastroianni) stars in this darkly comic Italian movie about exploited factory employees in Turin. These employees, who work in awful conditions at a textile factory, have no one to advocate for them until Sinigaglia puts his academic career on the line by assisting them in initiating a strike. Despite being scrutinized by unfriendly authorities, the teacher retains his commitment to the workers' cause.
