Jerry Day and Toni are at odds over their lifestyle. Jerry is unable of accepting responsibility, while Toni desires a family and an established existence. The Days then'rediscover' Jerry's young daughter Pennie, who has been living with his late wife's wealthy family. Pennie appears to be exactly what Jerry needs to reform his deceitful ways and lead a law-abiding existence. Jerry is influenced by the corruptible influence of jewel thief Felix Evans, despite the responsibilities of his new family. Jerry's new family life is jeopardized when Evans entices him to accept a job offer.
