L'Inhumaine
A famous singer Claire Lescot, who survives on the outskirts of Paris, is dated by lots of males, including a maharajah, Djorah de Nopur, and also a young Swedish scientist, Einar Norsen. At her lavish parties she enjoys their amorous focus yet she stays emotionally unresponsive and heartlessly teases them. When she is told that Norsen has actually killed himself due to her, she reveals no feelings. At her following show she is booed by an audience outraged at her cold. She visits the vault in which Norsen's body exists, and also as she admits her sensations for him she uncovers that he is alive; his death was feigned. Djorah is jealous of their new connection and causes Claire to be attacked by a toxic serpent. Her body is given Norsen's research laboratory, where he, through his clinical creations, recovers Claire to life.
